In Kundalini Yoga you must go through this peculiar state of doubt. It is called a "Self -doubt status". It is a giant pain in the path of progress, but it is also a sign that graduation is near. Your inner struggle will be: "I am, I am not. They are, they are not. It is, it is not. We are, we are not. It is true, it is not true." In that storm of doubt, if you just become humble enough and let it go, you will not have to raise a pinkie or even the slightest battle. That is the greatest miracle, that there is no miracle to remember, and that the Doer does everything anyway as you enjoy, laugh, cry, and be happy. We are all part of that flow. We are not separate.

Healing Recipe
Mung Bean Soup
1 Cup Mung Beans, washed
Salt
Black Pepper
2 Cups chopped green Vegetables (optional)
2 medium yellow Onions, chopped
5 cloves minced Garlic
Walnut-size piece of Gingerroot, peeled and chopped
1 tsp. Turmeric
1/4 tsp. Paprika or Cayenne
1 teaspoon Celery Seed
2 to 3 ripe Tomatoes, skins removed
1 Cup Milk
Cook mung beans in 6 cups water until they become soft and lose their skins. Beat with a hand beater or mash with a spoon. Make a masala in a separate skillet by sautéing vegetables if you are using them, onions, garlic, ginger, and spices in reasonable amount of oil. When onions are browned, add chopped tomatoes and continue frying until they have blended. Add to the beans and let simmer. After simmering about 20 minutes, add milk. The final consistency should not be really thick, but pleasantly soupy. Great to serve with cottage cheese and croutons. Serves 8.

It's time for me to return to Española, NM where I left nearly a year ago for my travels around the world. Now that I have completed my global journeys with my computer in hand to deliver to you the 3HO eNewsletter, Española is calling me to return for a visit. I am looking forward to being back in such a strong spiritual community and the early morning group sadhana. I am looking forward to immersing myself in the community and returning to the place that is very special in my heart.
