Angelic Angelite

Angelite is the beautiful name given to a form of blue Anhydrite which is commonly found in Peru. It has a soft powder blue appearance and tends to form in nodules with white exteriors, though there are also blue Angelite crystals that have been found.

As the name implies, Angelite is useful in connecting one with the guidance of angels and spiritually aligned beings. Like many blue stones, it is cooling, calming, soothing, and has been said to bring hues of soft blues to the tip of the electromagnetic field.

Angelite is stimulating to the third eye, throat, and crown chakras, and also works directly on the throat chakra to evoke words of compassion and sweetness. It brings a sense of calm and relief to the entire area around the throat.

It is also soothing to the emotional body and brings a sense of peace where there is a difficult or confrontational situation. Angelite brings intuitive insights and is an excellent stone to use or wear while counseling or giving advice to others.

Communication and communion with beings from higher dimensions are Angelite’s special gift to the one who holds, wears, or uses Angelite to enhance and deepen meditation. It is a stone that will be helpful for one seeking psychic attunement, channeling, and spiritual healing. It is also a fabulous tool for astrologers, singers, and anyone working in the healing arts.

Angelite is often placed under a pillow and used to enhance and remember dream states, particularly when there has been guidance received during the dream states. Angelite’s mineral composition is related to the skeletal system. It offers support to bone density and growth and has been found useful with arthritis and osteoporosis. It gives a smoother, easier sense of mobility and has also been helpful in healing breaks and fractures and for the maintenance of healthy bones as we age.

I encourage you to find this amazing stone and use it in your next meditation mala. This beautiful, peaceful blue stone will guide your meditation with subtle shades of blue and stand with you like a loving, nurturing close friend.
