Yoga Harmony in Disadvantaged Environments
What do we do?
Kundalini Yoga classes focus on women who face limited economic conditions who live in an environment marked by the daily presence of violence and drugs on the streets, as well as the normalization of verbal violence in daily interactions.

2024Yoga in Harmony: Restoring Balance in Disadvantaged Environments. The main objective is to restore balance to the nervous system through Kundalini Yoga. I want to help participants manage and stabilize the ongoing stress associated with a violent environment, allowing them to recognize and value their own potential to contribute positively to the community. With this project, we seek to provide a safe and accessible space where women can learn self-care, stress management, and emotional well-being.
What do we need the most?
The program is attended by people of very diverse ages, ranging from 35 to 75 years old. I feel that I lack knowledge and skills in adapting kriya postures so that older women can perform them according to the conditions of their bodies.
