This kriya helps us develop and crystallize our understanding of our Self, our mind, our body, and our soul.
If we can clarify our understanding of ourselves, we express truth with our actions and commitments. Get clear about who you, are so you can be that person to the world.
Arm Swings
Posture: Bring the arms straight out to the sides, parallel to the ground, with the palms facing forward.
Movement: Begin alternately bringing the palms in as if to beat the chest, but do not touch the chest.
Breath: Breath of Fire will automatically develop from the motion, if you do it correctly and powerfully. Imagine that you are pulling pranic energy in with each motion of the hands.
Continue for 6 minutes 30 seconds.
Clap Hands
Movement: Bring the hands in forcefully as if to clap them in front of the face, but do not touch the hands together. Combine force and control in your movement.
Continue for 2 minutes 30 seconds.
Bouncing Ball
Movement: Move both hands up and down at the same time as if bouncing a ball with each hand, and imagine that you are bouncing energy against the ground.
Breath: Do Breath of Fire.
Continue for 30 seconds.
Navel Press
Posture: Lie down flat and put both hands against the Navel Point. Press hard. Raise the heels up 6 inches and hold.
Think you are divine or feel sexy, but keep the heels six inches off the ground.
Continue for 6 minutes 30 seconds.
Sleep
Posture: Lie down and go to sleep.
Focus: Imagine that your body is filled with light. Focus at your Navel Point.
Mantra: Listen to the recording of Dhan Dhan Ram Das Gur called Naad: The Blessing by Sangeet Kaur.
Continue for 8 minutes.
Then begin to sing along using the power of the navel for 7 minutes.
Note:
If you choose to cut the times of these exercises down, they should be cut proportionally except for the Bouncing Ball exercise, which is always 30 seconds.
