The Practice
Posture: Sit in Easy Pose, maintain a straight spine, and lean the torso as far back as possible.
Eyes: 1/10th open.
Mudra: Bend the fingertips to the base of the fingers and extend the thumbs (Ego Eradicator Mudra). Lift the hands up at a 90-degree angle. The upper arms are out to the sides, parallel to the ground.
Breath: Inhale completely in 4 equal parts; exhale all the breath from the lungs in 4 equal parts.
Mantra: Sohung, which translates as, “I am That Infinite.” Mentally vibrate So on each part of the inhale (So, So, So, So) and mentally vibrate Hung with each part of the exhale (Hung, Hung, Hung, Hung).
Continue for 3 minutes maximum at any one practice time. At the end of the meditation, bend forward at the waist, resting the head on the ground.
