Numerology Forecast for February 2023: Look Before You Leap
The month of February 2023 is a time of discernment and decisiveness in our decision-making process. We will find ourselves feeling polarized by the intensity of vacillating emotions, while standing on the precipice of all that is new and exciting.
At the same time, we will experience resistance to letting go of what is known, safe, and predictable. “Should I or shouldn’t I?” is the subtext mantra of the month, so let’s take a look at ways to break-it-down and build-it-up again, with a new tempo and zest for life.
The number 2 of February represents the themes of relationships, boundaries, feminine energy, cooperation, and balance. It is also the Negative Mind, which has the ability to see what can potentially go wrong in a situation. It’s our “Crap-detector,” which alerts us to danger in the environment, as well as the hidden agendas of others. “Look before you leap,” would be a motto for the Negative Mind.
This is especially important now, as we have the number 9 appearing in the Base calculation for February (Base is month of 2 + year of 7 = 9). Number 9 in the Base is a force to be reckoned with, as it has a very strong sentimental and nostalgic pull in its energy field. This can be a good thing if you feel inspired to host the Girl Scout cookie drive because you have fond childhood memories of selling Mystic Mints door to door.
However, it may not be such a good idea if someone who previously tied you to the railroad tracks of emotional codependency now circles back around and says, “Hey, I’ve got two tickets to Oblivion, wanna come along?”
The number 2 represents the “Longing to Belong,” and the desire to be in a cozy, trustful relationship. Trust is a keynote theme throughout the year, as number 7 is the overall number for 2023. We are constantly being challenged with who, and to what degree, we can trust people. A large part of another person’s ability to be trusted is how much stress they are under. A friend may tell you at 9:00 AM they will pick up the prescription painkillers from the pharmacy, and after work bring them to your door, but will they really come through? It may depend on what kind of day they’ve had, and if they have the mental marbles left over to remember. My point in all this is, choose who you trust wisely throughout the year. There is a popular country expression, “Don’t send a boy to do a man’s job.” Use your own intelligence to intuit who can handle what, and to what degree they are capable of coming through.
We need an energy upgrade right now, so we may better navigate the days ahead through our strength and intuition. The “Meditation for Guidance and Strengthening the Inner Voice” is just what you need at this time. It will support your mental direction, and what the Yogis call “the flow of the psyche.”
Diving deeper into the details of the number 2, it is important to know that 2 in the negative polarity is chaos and confusion. It can be highly reactive when upset and have a “throwing the baby out with the bathwater” temperament when it feels emotionally slighted. Factor in this sensitivity when dealing with others, and know that it may take a few extra steps to sort things out if they go haywire. Something as simple as, “Are we good here, I just want to be sure that you’re okay before I hang up the phone?” can save you from miles of backtracking and damage control further down the road.
It’s not always easy being sensitive to others’ needs, and it can be even more difficult having to compensate for another’s emotional dysfunction. This dynamic is basically an epidemic on planet Earth right now.
We need to set ourselves for what is called the “long game” strategy. Every human being needs to develop a “core essentials” package of what they do for themselves on a daily or weekly basis. This can be as simple as an organic cup of tea or coffee in the morning as you watch the sunrise. Then, a 3-mile walk before the rest of the world wakes up. Next step, read scripture or chant a beautiful mantra for 5 to 11 minutes before walking out the door to start your day. And last but not least, invest in an Instapot, so you can have a lovely, healthful dinner in 10 to 15 minutes. (P.S. There are lots of great Instapot recipes on Youtube!)
Get down to the core basics of your life and reorganize and regroup for a healthier and more stable future. There are lots of changes coming down the pike on planet Earth, and we need not fear these changes if we have our house in order.
We have been experiencing—and will continue to experience—a lot of energetic shifts in the electromagnetic field of the planet we live on. These shifts will at times have the effect of making people feel odd, off, or disconnected in some way. Not a happy place.
There are two remedies to this that will be helpful in 2023. Number 7 is the Water Element and is also connected to sound and music. Stock up on a variety of bath salts and essential oils that are healing for you. Lavender oil is calming and soothing to the nervous system. Lemon and Orange oils are cleansing and uplifting to the psyche. Clove oil releases tension and has the subtle effect of boosting self-esteem. Peppermint Oil supports the lungs and helps to release fear and calm the mind. Three to five drops of oil is usually enough for an aromatic effect, but as always, use your own good judgment to determine the exact right amount.
If you have had a tough day at work, head to the bathroom as soon as you get home and turn on the cold water in the bathtub. Take your shoes and socks off, sit on the edge of the tub, and place your feet under the cold running water for 3 minutes. This helps the nervous system readjust and perks up the brain as well!
Having a medley of self-healing techniques is one of the best ways to keep yourself together and grounded. A good night’s sleep is essential for all, and many Yogis sleep with mantra music on a low volume in their bedroom. Just loud enough, not too loud.
Last but not least, there are four very powerful transit points this month, and they occur on the 1st, 10th, 19th, and 28th. These days hold a frequency of insight and clarity, and provide a highly positive starting point for new projects and endeavors. You will also be able to see more clearly “who’s with me, and who’s not” at this time.
Taking hold of your own narrative allows the winds of change to support your best interests. You can bless yourself every day by declaring out loud, “The kindness and goodness of the Almighty bestows good fortune on the path before me. I am protected and cared for, all is well in my world.”
