Sat Hari Singh
In 1981 I had decided to go to the Guru Ram Das Ashram. I wanted to dedicate myself entirely to this spiritual way of life of Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma, my whole life. The dawn of the Age of Aquarius had moved many people like me to give 100% of their lives into new contexts. In health food stores, at Amnesty International – or yoga. For the next eleven years, my life consisted of sadhana, 3HO, Golden Temple Restaurant, evening yoga, raising children and above all experiencing, preparing and following up on Yogi Bhajan’s visits. That shaped me. During that time, I translated my heart’s prayer, the Jap Ji Sahib, twice, published a mantra booklet and turned my experiences into music, because our “religion” is music. Everything else came out of it later. There are moments in every person’s life when there is an extraordinary opportunity to serve their time and their people. When I saw the starry sky in the Old Synagogue in Boizenburg for the first time, I knew here it was, now it’s that time again. Sat Nam.

Gurudev Kaur
I have been practicing and teaching Kundalini Yoga and the healing art Sat Nam Rasayan as taught by Yogi Bhajan since 1997. I have an adult daughter and am a licensed doctor. The deep, transformative power and intelligence of Kundalini Yoga and the associated potential for healing of body and mind is the focus of my teaching. I lead Sacred Chanting Circles and teach harmonium and singing. I am fascinated by the possibility of exchanging old, non-serving patterns of behavior and habits with the help of devotional chanting of certain sound combinations (gurbani) for new frequencies and patterns that unfold our full human potential.

Ajooni Singh
My name is Ajooni Singh. I was born in Mexico, and in 1988 I had my first international cuisine restaurant. I met Master Yogi Bhajan in 1989, and soon after went to live and study with him. In the summer of that year, I started to cook for him. Since at that point, I had no experience with cooking vegetarian food, I used my intuition to transform my original recipes to vegetarian dishes and served him with love and prayers to improve his health. I learned from the Master the use of spices and prepared food for him with flavors from India, Mexico, Italy, as well as Arabic and Yogic recipes. While cooking, I was always thinking about how to cook to heal his body as well as making the food delicious. Over the years I learned from the Master a unique method of Ayurvedic cooking and diet – simple and nutritious — which everyone can enjoy.
