Service Exchange Application – Set-Up and Break Down Team

The Solstice Setup and Breakdown Crew is responsible for setting the intention for a blessed, healing, inspiring experience at the Solstice Festival. We arrive early and stay late. The team opens the site for our Solstice event. When Solstice closes, the team packs it up.

We need strong souls who are comfortable with physical work. Generally, setup tasks include unpacking storage, moving stuff around, setting things up, decorating and landscaping. It is a good mix of the physical, creative, hard work and fun.

The team gets special meals and is a great opportunity to work hard and get to enjoy all of the event offerings.

You may be called on to serve, as needed, during the Solstice event, but this is usually rare.

Due to the work commitment needed for this service exchange we ask that you do not bring children or animals to the setup/breakdown crew.

Also, and importantly serving this team will earn you a full exchange meaning you will pay nothing for your ticket.

Requirements:

  • We need two bodies to arrive by June 1st or 2nd (they can skip tear down)
  • You must be available for the entire duration of the event.
  • Prepare to serve 8-10 hours per day. (during setup, then you are free until tear down!!)
  • Arrival on Thursday June 5th
  • Start serving on Friday, June 6th
  • Serve until 5pm on Sunday, June 22rd
